Ghummakkad ghar/ Mobile home – India

When one talks of “shift” in terms of the journey it comes as a movement of transition from a known place to an unknown or from a local to an urban on a broader scale. These visuals of transfer are so often seen that their visual impact starts getting subdued with their frequency. In this series of Mobile homes, my concern lays in the journey of these structures and portray it by modifying these visuals to generate some sense of aesthetic curiosity.

The use of iron and ropes made of recycled plastic comments on the modification of the rural to urban directing the development, with a strong sense of satire.
